Hello! My name is Tamerlan. My major is biochemistry. I was born and raised in the southern part of Russia, in the small Republic of Kalmykia, surrounded by a steppe where tulips cover everything in spring. I am striving for an education in the medical field. I am madly in love with poetry. At the time of creating my digital portfolio for this course, I am writing a collection of my poems.

If you ever get a chance, I recommend reading Sergei Dovlatov’s novels, for example, “The Suitcase”, “The Compromise” and “Zapovednik”. In his stories, I find something that reminds me of something good.

I want to say that despite the difficulties life throws at each of us, things gradually tend to fall into place — and everything turns out fine. I always say that, and I’m always right. I want to live in a way that makes this phrase true: “My entire biography is a chain of well-organized accidents,” where each accident only makes life more fascinating.
